Healthy kids are happy kids.

     That's why helping your kids be as healthy as they can be is a top priority for families.  Here at The Pediatric Center, it's our top priority also with attentive well-child care and immunizations.

     When your child is sick, that's when you'll appreciate us the most.  We realize that being sick is no fun for a kid, whether it's the sniffles or a chronic illness.  Both children and parents need to feel comfortable sharing concerns and asking questions.  Our pediatricians and staff will take the time to make sure you understand your health care options.

Office Hours

     We accept same day appointments and walk-ins are welcome.  Our office is open 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  If you wish to tour our facilities and meet the doctors before you decide on your pediatric care, please call our office.  This visit is free of charge.

What to Bring to Your Child's Appointment

      If your child is a first-time patient, please plan to arrive early in order to complete a patient registration form and please bring the following items to your appointment:

• An insurance card for your child's coverage
• Physician referral forms, if required by insurance
• A list of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medications you are giving your child, including dose and frequency
• Any recent test results

 After-Hour Care

     Child wellness never sleeps.  Dr. Saleme, Dr. Coleman, and Mr. Baker are prepared around the clock to handle your pediatric needs.  Rest assured - The Pediatric Center's staff will be there for you when you need them most.  Phone calls are answered by physicians after hours for your reassurance.  In case of a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the nearest hospital emergency room.

Prescription Refills

     Simply call during office hours for your prescription to be refilled.  Your pediatrician will review your chart to ensure your request is handled as conveniently as possible.

Fees & Payments

     The Pediatric Center is a provider on most employee health plans.  Check your specific plan to be sure.  The Pediatric Center will handle all of your insurance filing.  Remember, even if you have insurance coverage, you are still responsible for the payment of your account.  Should you have a balance due, we accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and cash.  If necessary, we can arrange a personalized monthly payment plan with you.
